GUIDANCE & STUDENT SERVICES
Ever thought of owning your own business? Either now or in the future? Are you the type of person who would rather work for yourself than for someone else? There is an excellent opportunity this summer to learn the skills you will need to run your own business and see if you have what it takes to make it a success. There is a limited number of spots available for BIZ CAMP 2008 at Carleton University for students 14 - 17 years old. This camp runs from August 5 - August 22 and is totally free!! See Ms. Mac in student services for more information.
Ryan’s Well Youth Ambassador Program is looking for 15 to 17 year old students interested in taking on leadership roles in the foundation. Students will be invited to a 3 day training session in Kemptville, and then will be responsible for educating peers and groups within the Carleton Place and Almonte communities on the importance of water resources and conservation.
Applications can be picked up in Student Services.
See Ms. Kehoe for more details.
